At Cinderlad Keeshonden we conscientiously plan each litter based on the parents' temperament, and qualities in relation to the breed's AKC-approved official standard.  We typically breed for temperment, soundness and type.   Before we produce a litter, we consider the possibilities of properly placing the puppies we cannot keep ourselves and maintain a waiting list of potential puppy buyers.

Cinderlad Keeshonden only uses dogs that are of sound temperament and free of congenital defects for breeding.  All sire/dams have a MINIMUM OFA (Fair, Good or Excellent) as well as PHPT Testing. In addition, we also perform  stifle checks, thyroid clear,  and eye tests (CERF).
